Ants often move indoors after heavy summer rain floods their nests, or during dry spells when they search for water. Bait can take a few days to work, since worker ants carry it back to the colony. Try not to wipe or spray the trails in that time, as it breaks the chain before the bait reaches the nest. The crew will tell you how long to leave the bait before cleaning.
